A Microscope

You need to get acquainted with the usage of the microscope, for observing cells. On the screen is the figure of a light microscope. Study the parts and learn their names. The specimen to be observed is placed on a glass slide on the stage under an objective piece, in the middle of the microscope. Light is passed through the object with the help of a mirror and a condenser from below the stage. From the eye piece above you can see a magnified image of the object. You can get a sharp image by turning the side knobs.
