Extended Composition Based on Verbal Stimulus

Introduction

     Reread chapter two - 'Steps for Effective Writing' and follow it carefully to write a good composition. In addition, use the style and format suitable to that particular piece of writing.

Report Writing

     This could take the form of a newspaper report, letter report or a simple report to your Department Head with your findings and recommendations.

Letter to the Editor

     A letter to the Editor is generally written to express our opinions or feelings about a current happening or event, to make people aware of some important things that concern society, to bring to public knowledge and to the notice of the authorities concerned, a problem that needs to be solved.

Article

     The organization of the article depends on the topic, but all articles should have a good introduction and a good conclusion.

Debate Script

     The topic is 'Wars Always Create More Problems Than They Solve'. Here are some points for and against the proposition. Use them and your own ideas to write out the debate script.
