Pythagoras

Introduction
In the given triangle ABC, ÐA = 90o. Squares BCDE, ABFG and ACKL are drawn on the sides of the triangle.
Pythagoras Theorem
In a right angled triangle, the square on the hypotenuse is equal to the sum of the squares on the sides containing the right angle.
Pythagorean Triplets
      If a, b, c are the sides of a right angled triangle so that a2 + b2 = c2.
Summary
In a right angled triangle, the square on the hypotenuse is equal to the sum of the squares on the sides containing the right angle. In DABC if ÐA = 90o,  BC2= AB2 + AC2.
