| To construct angles of 60o, 120o and 30o |
| |
 |
| |
 |
| |
| (i) Draw a line AB. |
| |
| (ii) With A as centre, taking any suitable radius, draw an arc which cuts AB at P. |
| |
| (iii) With P as centre and the same radius, cut the arc at Q. |
| |
| (iv) From Q, with the same radius, cut the arc at R. |
| |
(v) Join AQ and produce it to C. Then |
| |
(vi) Join AR and produce it to D. Then |
| |
| (vii) Take any radius greater than half of PQ. |
| |
| (viii) Draw two intersecting arcs from points P and Q, with the above radius. |
| |
| (ix) Join this point of intersection and point A. Produce the line to E. |
| |
(x) AE bisects |
| |
(xi) Hence . |
