choice function : A choice function ( selector, selection) is a mathematical function $f$ whose domain $X$ is a collection of nonempty sets such that for every $S$ in $X$, $f(S)$ is an element of $S$. In other words $f$ chooses exactly one element from each set in $X$. Ernst Zermelo introduced choice functions along with the axiom of choice (AC) in a 1904 paper that gave a proof of the well-ordering theorem,[ 1] which states that every set can be well-ordered. Question : The score choice function lets me choose which scores I want to send to college. Right now, i'm trying to send scores to colleges through collegeboard, but then on the screen where it asks which scores i want to send, it says " UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA SAN DIEGO has indicated that it considers all SAT scores in its review process and requires that you submit all SAT scores from all test dates." So whats the point of the score choice program if colleges want all your test scores anyways?

Answer : Score Choice ONLY applies to colleges that don't require to see all of your scores (there are some colleges that don't ask to all of your scores out there!). Guess you're outta luck with UC San Diego; you're gonna have to submit all your scores...   More from Yahoo Answers
