cubes : A cube is a three-dimensional solid object bounded by six square faces, facets or sides, with three meeting at each vertex. The cube can also be called a regular hexahedron and is one of the five Platonic solids. It is a special kind of square prism, of rectangular parallelepiped and of trigonal trapezohedron. The cube is dual to the octahedron. It has cubical symmetry (also called octahedral symmetry). A cube is the three-dimensional case of the more general concept of a hypercube. For a cube centered at the origin, with edges parallel to the axes and with an edge length of 2, the Cartesian coordinates of the vertices are while the interior consists of all points (x 0, x 1, x 2) with -1 < x i < 1. For a cube of edge length a, As the volume of a cube is the third power of its sides a × a × a, third powers are called cubes, by analogy with squares and second powers. A cube has the largest volume among cuboids (rectangular boxes) with a give....   More from Wikipedia

Let's see if the micro-cube can keep up with drums. Recorded with an external mic straight into the PC. The backing track was played pretty loud and wasn't quite the same volume of the real drums. I'm not the loudest drummer in the world either. The micro-cube could be used with drums but the drummer would have to lay back a lot.
Access full lesson containing this video at: www.yourteacher.com Students learn that the formula for the volume of a prism is length times width times height, so the volume of a rectangular prism that has a length of 25 inches, a width of 4 inches, and a height of 9 inches, is 25 times 4 times 9, or 900 cubic inches. Students also learn that the formula for the volume of a cube is side length cubed, and the formula for the volume of a pyramid is 1/3 times the area of the base times the ...

Question : ok if the surface area of a cube 24 squared. FIND the volume of the cube plz give me the working out

Answer : the cube has 6 surfaces Each would be 24/6 = 4 square units Therefore each side will be 2 x 2 Therefore the volume is 2 x 2 x 2 = 8 cubic units..   More from Yahoo Answers

Question : a cube, volume, a cylinder

Answer : A volume of a sube is simply one of the sides cubed. For example, if the cube's side was 4m, then its volume is 4 = 64m For a cylinder, the volume is the area of the circle multiplied by the height of the cylinder: V = r x h Where r is the radius...   More from Yahoo Answers
