You will have to send all of the scores in order for the college to replace a lower SAT score for a section. Let's say you have the first time around: Reading Comprehension: 770 Writing: 740 Math: 690 You take the test again, and you get: Reading Comprehension: 750 Writing: 750 Math: 800 If you decide to send both sets of tests scores, then colleges will usually replace your Writing and Math scores with the scores for the sections that are higher. Your new score would then be: Reading Comprehension: 770 Writing: 750 Math: 800 However, if you use Score Choice, this is not possible, given the fact that only one set of scores for a test is sent. I would not recommend that you take the test again. It is a waste of money and time. There is also an extremely low probability that you will score higher.
