There are ftp (file transfer protocol) sites, where the files are transferred which will be not part of the world wide web but a part of internet, so world wide web or simply 'web' is different from Internet or the 'net', since the Internet is a network of computer networks around the world which uses TCP/IP (transmission control protocol/internet protocol) for transmission or transfer of data..
