domain of a composite : Tensile strength measures the force required to pull something such as rope, wire, or a structural beam to the point where it breaks. See also: Matter & Energy Civil Engineering Engineering Materials Science Construction Energy Technology The tensile strength of a material is the maximum amount of tensile stress that it can be subjected to before failure. The definition of failure can vary according to material type and design methodology. This is an important concept in engineering, especially in the fields of material science, mechanical engineering and structural engineering..   NM or HM. After killing the titans shown a chest "may" appear at the top end where they spawn. This chest is considered a "Titan Chest" with potential gold Magma Shields. You need the quest 'Hold The Line' active, which you will pick in the domain of secrets The titans themselves are also known to drop the shields Doing this in NM will save your lockpick retention and a quicker process alround for farming the chest. Theres lots of builds to do this but heres the template for the one i'm ...

Question : Hi. I would like to find out the answer to this question. Considering the functions f(x) =( 5-3*x) / (x+5) g(x) = (5-3*x) then what is the composite function f(g(x)) if it exists i do not want the answer simplified. also what is the domain of the composite function f(g(x)). thanks for any help received.

Answer : f( g(x) ) = [ 5 - 3 (5 - 3x) ] / [ (5 - 3x) + 5 ] The domain of f( g(x) ) is found by noting that x 5/3 (else you have the sq. root of a neg. number) So the domain is the set of real numbers such that x 5/3...   More from Yahoo Answers

Question : f(x) = 2 sqrt (x -5 ) domain : x for all real numbers , x >= 5 g(x) = x^2 + 3 domain : x for all real numbers Questions : a. Explain briefly why the function fg does not exist ? b. Find the domain of gf(x) Please help me as soon as possible :(

Answer : I assume that you mean ( fog ) and ( gof ). ......................................................................................................... 1. ( fog )(x) = f [ g(x) ] = f ( x^2 + 3 ) = 2. sqrt [ ( x^2 + 3 ) - 5 ] = 2. sqrt ( x^2 - 2 ) ............................................................................................... There is no reason why fog should not exist unless x^2 - 2 < 0. Its domain then contains those values of x such that x^2 - 2 >= 0, i.e., x^2 >= 2 i.e., either x <= - sqrt(2) or x >= sqrt( 2 )..................(a) ................................................................................................... 2. ( gof )(x) = g [ f(x) ] = g [ 2 sqrt( x-5 ) ] = [ 2 sqrt( x-5 ) ]^2 + 3 = 4( x-5) + 3 = 4x - 17. This is a polynomial function. Its Domain = R = set of all real numbers................(b)...   More from Yahoo Answers
