Question : like in elementary algebra were factoring polynomials, so would we just get a completely different topic in the next level of math, a MORE COMPLEX polynomial to factor, or just learning different rules for factoring polynomials for example, any information with regards to comparing any other topics in the two levels of algebra would be great to hear about too.

Answer : In the next level of algebra, you will learn about functions other than polynomials, such as exponential functions, logarithms, conic sections, and trig functions. You will also learn more about polynomials. You might also learn about complex numbers and matrices. Question : and why do people take elementary algebra ? Can't you just take the assessment test at your junior college and test into a much a higher math if you teach yourself at home with your book ?
