Question : Ok 6th grade math:
1)What is the relationship between the diameter of a circle and its circumference.
Algebra 1:
1) (N+3) x (N-5)
Plz explain them both this is for my sis shes in 6th grade and I have my own homework to do, and the Algebra 1 is for her too!
Answer : circumference = pi x diameter pi is an integer with a value of 3.1415926 etc (the decimals go on and on and on) (n + 3) x (n - 5) you have to use FOIL--multiply the first values in each parenthesis, then the outside, then the inside, then the last ones, and add all the results up, which gets you.. n^2 + 3n - 5n - 8 And you can simplify the answer to: n^2 - 2n - 8..   More from Yahoo Answers
