graphics card test

  This is just testing my new graphics card wich is the 2600 ge cube wich is 512 megabites with the game: Condemned - Criminal Orgins i know not that good, but its the most i can offord right now

  Testing my ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series i recently bought. Game: Crysis Settings: All settings on highest.

Question : I just replaced my years old faithful Hercules Prophet graphics card with a new 8800 GT Card and guess what my computer runs like a snail now...... :( I think the cards Damien ? How can I test it to see if it working properly ? All the driver are installed and in Device Manager it says it is but it takes 20-30 minutes to get there :( Thanks Yasir C All the tests check out - but the bouncing white box and spinnning box are SO slow :( I've tried a few games and videos as well ..

Question : well is this how you test if your graphics card still working? i mean like if i am afraid i damaged the hardware from static. can i go to run and type dxdiag and go to the display tab and to the tests and if all are working, does that mean my graphics card is ok?

Answer : If you can boot to the desktop, you should be OK. Are you seeing glitches and artifacts? Do colors seem right? Is anything distorted? Does video play correctly? You can certainly run dxdiag. It will show you whether your card will run DirectX. If any of the tests don't display correctly, you may have a problem. If so , ask anothe rquestion or email me...   More from Yahoo Answers
