Question : An ezample is : y= x+3 and you have to graph it on a graph that you do ordered pairs on please help
Answer : High 5! I'm in middle school, too and I learned this about 2 months ago. First, make "The table of values" So you would make a little chart with 2 columns. The first column is labeled "x" or the second is labeled "y". Next, I'm assuming you learned domain values and range values I hope. I also hope you learned "input" and "output". If you don't, then I'll explain to you. Say that there is a machine. The machine needs a "rule" to do the function it's supposed to do. So let's say that a person wants a number doubled. So the rule would be "2n". So you put a number, let's say 6 as the input. Then the machine would give you 12, as the output. So, the point is, you can choose ANYYYY number you want for x. y=x+3 is THE RULE. So x would be the input. So choose random numbers, BUT WITHIN REASON. For an example: -2, -3, 1, 0. Whatever. So in your chart, write at least 3 domain values in the x column. Stop, and think for a second. I don't want you to get confused................................   More from Yahoo Answers
