Question : I calculated the cost of capital of a firm by using the CAPM. I found 12%. The market's return is of 11%. How can this tell me whether I should use internal forms of financing or external? I also may be signing of a division of the firm and come across some money inflow during the following year. Thank you

Answer : you should contact a financial consultant they will help you with your questions..   More from Yahoo Answers

Question : how do i find the equation of this line? ok, well point M is the midpoint of the two intercepts on the x and y axis. now point M is (4,3) my textbook gave the hint of writing the thing in point gradient, so y - 4 = m(x-3) but i dont know what to do after that. i think internal/external division might have something to do with the answer but i cant think of how that might help

Answer : Let the x intercept be (x1, y1) and y intercept be (x2, y2) Coordinates of Midpoint = [ (x1 + x2) / 2 ] , [ (y1 + y2) / 2] (4,3) = [ (x1 + x2) / 2 ] , [ (y1 + y2) / 2] x1 + x2 = 8 while y1 + y2 = 6 Since x intercept = (x1, y1), x1 = 0 and so x2 = 8 Since y intercept = (x2, y2), y2 = 0 and so y1 = 6 Thus the intercepts are (0, 6) and (8, 0) Gradient of the line = change in y / change in x = (0 - 6) / (8 - 0) = -6 / 8 = -3/4 Equation of a line : y = mx + c where m is gradient and c is y intercept Therefore, equation is y = -3/4x +6..   More from Yahoo Answers
