motions : A legal motion is a procedural device in law to bring a limited, contested issue before a court for decision. A motion may be thought of as a request to the judge (or judges) to make a decision about the case. Motions may be made at any point in administrative, criminal or civil proceedings,..   More from Wikipedia
motions : A motion simulator or motion platform is a mechanism that encapsulates riders and creates the effect/feelings of being in a moving object. One example would be a theme park ride which simulates flying by using a projection screen in front of the seats you ride in. The whole room is on giant..   More from Wikipedia

Motion
Introduction - In the physical world, one of the most common phenomena is motion. The branch of Physics, which deals with the behaviour of moving objects, is known as mechanics. Mechanics is further divided into two sections namely Kinematics and Dynamics. Kinematics deals with the study ..
Video montage to inspire and challenge you to live as an all-out, sell-out for Christ; and not just go through "the motions."
My 7th video of stop motion, this time I try to make it as Asia fighting style with asia musics, and I use lots of new tricks and video effects in this one, well, some of them seems to be good and some are not quite satisfied, I will keep trying new things, hope to improve everytime. Thank you for watching and if you like my video, please comment and subscribe!!
Question : The planets that can be observed with the naked eye Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn move with respect to the fixed stars and with respect to the Sun.
What are the received values for the distances of the planets (including the Earth) from the Sun?
What aspect of the motions with respect to the Sun, observed over time with the naked eye, distinguish Mercury and Venus from the other planets?
Answer : Mercury and Venus do not demonstrate apparent retrograde movement. They move faster than the other planets. But when a planet slower than Earth, like Mars, gets passed by Earth, it appears to move backwards in the sky. Click this link and scroll down for an animation of this apparent motion. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apparent_retrograde_motion Mercury and Venus move with the Sun as it moves across the sky, when viewed from Earth. They are closer to the Sun than the Earth, and they orbit the Sun, so they move with it. They rise around when the Sun rises and they set sometime around when the Sun sets. Sometimes, Mercury and Venus move between the Sun and the Earth. They are said to transit the Sun when this happens. This chart has the mean distance from all the planets to the Sun, measured in kilometers and astronomical units. Earth, for example, is 149,597,890 km from the Sun, or 1 AU. An AU is defined as the distance from the Earth to the Sun. http://en.wikipedia.org/....   More from Yahoo Answers
