Distance of the object from the centre of the Earth
The value of g inside the Earth is directly proportional to the distance from the centre of the Earth. Hence, g decreases as we go down into the Earth till it becomes zero at the centre of the Eart..

Question : for example, maybe you have an old chair in your house that looks hideous but you can't get rid of it because it reminds you of your grandfather who used to sit in it all the time.
Answer : I have a wooden angel that looks like she was carved from a piece of bark. She stands approximately six inches tall and is about 3-4 inches wide. She has a really smooth, peach, flesh colored face and her eyes are closed. She is kneeling and her hands are together in prayer. The only parts of her body that are not covered in a gown are her head, hands and the bottom of her bare feet. The first and only time I ever questioned God's presence was when my grandmother passed away. I was devastated and wanted to know beyond a doubt that I would see her again some day. So, I begged God to send me an Angel. I don't normally stop at yard sales, but on my way home one day soon after my request, I had an urge to stop at this yard sale around the corner from my house. No one else was around and the sale was in a garage. I couldn't see any of the items for sale from the street. This is a situation I would never stop at. I walked into the garage and there was not much for sale. B..

Question : I am sorry I kind of don't get it: if an object starts moving and within the first minute covers the distance from point A to point B of 1 meter, then, within the second minute, the distance from point B to point C, which is 3 meters, then, within the third minute, the distance from C to D, which is 4 meters, and so on, what is its acceleration value? I mean, how many 'meters per second squared' is that?
Forgot to mention: points A,B, C, D, and so on, are all located on the same straight li..
Answer : With this data, you can't really tell because it is not a uniform acceleration. It is accelerating somewhere between B and C, but then that acceleration is less somewhere between C and D. Also, your units of acceleration will be in meters per minute squared. From B to C, we accelerated by 2 M / Min^2. From C to D, it was down to 1 M / Min^2.
