Question : Does anyone know if there are any patterns for clothes that fit Build a Bears? I have one, and I love to sew, so why not save a little money and make my B. a B. some clothes myself!!
Answer : Simplicity has a pattern for clothing for small and large bears, including vests, hats, and bows in a variety of fabrics with or without appliqued leaves and flowers. It is Simplicity Crafts #5461, which can be purchased at any store that sells fabric. I got my pattern at Wal-Mart at a discounted price. eBay also has "craft" patterns which may be lower than the marked pattern price, even after you pay shipping. Making bears and/or their clothing is considered a craft project. When looking for clothing for bears, you need to look in the craft section of the pattern book. Good luck!..   More from Yahoo Answers

Question : I just bought a sewing pattern from Simplicity, and I've worked with a pattern before, but it only showed one way to place the pattern on fabric. In this pattern it showed 4 different ways to place the pattern. And I know that with some patterns you can make different things (ex. 6 different shirts in one pattern), but on mine, pattern D came with D1, D2, D3, D4. How do I know which pattern to pick?
Answer : Different layouts are usually for different types and sizes of fabrics such as 44/45" or 60", or with or without nap... Also, directional fabrics (ie. stripes) or repeating designs (assuming you want to match them up) use more fabric than solids or random prints because you have to be fussy with the layout. You will choose the layout that best matches your fabric width and type. Hope this helps!..   More from Yahoo Answers
