Answer : Use Microsoft Excel or the free version at openoffice.org 1 - Insert whatever raw data you need to compile into the pie chart. Make sure that the category of the raw data being inserted is under the "A" column, and that the raw data is under the "B" column. 2 - Locate "Pie" button and click. Click on the "Insert" tab on the top of the screen, then click on the "Pie" button located in the "Charts" category. 3 - A list of several different pie chart options will be displayed, click on the appropriate one for your given situation. 4 - Your pie chart should appear in the middle of the screen, and you are able to customize the chart to your liking with the "Chart Layout" and "Chart Styles" tabs.
