Question : Problem solving? my yard is 15 m long and 15m wide. The whole yard is paved except for a garden that is 2.25m wide and 10m long. What percentage of my whole yard is paved? i need help how to work it out

Answer : Find area of yard. A =LxW=15mx15m=225m2 (AY) Find area of garden 2.25m x 10m=22.5m2 (AG) Put AG over AY & x by 100. 22.5/225 =0.1 x100=10. 10pc of yard is garden, therefore 90pc of yard is paved. Hope this helps...   More from Yahoo Answers
