Question : I'm thirteen years old,and in 6th grade(I was left back in 6th grade,because I was absent so much due to me being somewhat sickly >>).
I was taking an official IQ test and the person that gave it to me said I have the reading skills,vocabulary and spelling skills of an eleventh grader.
Is that good? Eleventh graders are..16 year olds,in general,right?
She wasn't talking about the test,she was talking about my skills since I was answering the questions.
Answer : In 7th grade, I tested at College level. In 8th, I took the S.A.T.'s and got something in the 1300's. The biggest problem in school I faced was boredom. So I took Drama, Film, and Army J.R.O.T.C. After a 2 year break to race motorcycles (I built my first engine when I was 10) I went back to school. I've studied Aviation, Nursing, and Culinary arts. Anyway,enough rambling,I was taking an IQ test(not online) and the..Um,person who takes it said I had the vocabulary,spelling skills and reading skills of an eleventh grader. How good is that to be exact?
Answer : The only valid IQ test is from MENSA, and you need a proctor for it. Whenever you take a test to see where your level is and have taken the exam from school, it just shows where you stand but doesn't show that you have the abilities until you are in the grade. I skipped two grades when I was able to demonstrate my abilities by taking the exam and having my teacher signed a paper to let me skipped those two grades. Check into the school to see if you can take some exam and have your teachers sign a form to let you skip... More from Yahoo Answers
