Question : LIke, You have some salt water, figure how much salt, like the % and stuff(mol, g), is in the water. more importantly, how much salt can be dissolved into water without it being visable,, aka so full of salt that it doesnt dissolve. Such as (example, which is probably not ture(onlyexample)) 5 parts water will fully dissolve 3 parts salt, or like this, 100g of H2O dissolves exactly 500g of NaCl. Yeah that's what I wanna know how to find. Yes I know the heat makes a difference, but its ..

Answer : You need to find the concentration (mol/L or M) to see how much salt is soluble in water. Using the equation C=n/v where c is concentration, n is mols, and v is volume of solution, you can find the concentration you need before the salt becomes hypertonic (no more soluble). I'm not quite sure what your given data is and what you're looking for but you have to use mol ratios and a balanced chemical equation in order to find the missing variable. ex. if you have the mass of NaCl, using the Molar Mass and the mass, find the number of mols, find the molar ratio of the the product. Using the mol of the product to find the concentration in water, you would know how much NaCl was used. You're question isn't very clear, but I hope I answered it! =D

Question : Why is it that the solubilty of gas decreases with an increase in temperature? If possible, please explain it in kinetic theory.

Answer : Gas molecules are dissolved to a certain extent depending on the intermolecular interactions with the gas molecule with the water molecules (for example), evaporation occurs at the surface of the liquid, and this is where the gas molecule, if given enough kinetic energy, can break apart from the water molecules. With the increase in temperature, the average kinetic energy of the gas molecules and that of water becomes greater, and they can both escape with greater kinetic energies. http://www.freewebs.com/chemistryhomework
