A verb is an important part of a sentence in English Grammar that expresses an action. The verb is an essential component of a predicate without which, there won’t be a sentence, just a group of words with a partial thought mentally, physically, or mechanically. Verbs always express activity it gestures an act, an occurrence, or a state of being.
In fact, you can’t have a sentence without a verb! That’s how important these “action” parts of speech are.
