How does TutorVista work?

TutorVista offers online tutoring to students across the world in an interactive, digital classroom. They include audio and a chat feature for direct communication with tutors and a shared whiteboard for viewing files, working out equations or plotting functions.

How do I create an account?

To create an account select the BUY NOW option on the home page (TutorVista.com), choose your preferred plan and create an account.

What can I get help with?

Our tutors can assist with concept learning, test prep help, homework help and exam preparation in core subjects like Math, English, Science (Physics, Chemisty, Biology) and Statistics from Kindergarden to Freshmen College.

How do I get a tutor?

You need an active TutorVista account to connect to a tutor. If you don’t have an account, click here to get started now. If you already have an account, click on login and start a session any time you need help - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week! *(subject specific)

How do I pay online?

Before subscribing to a tutoring plan you can pay through Debit/Credit Cards or PayPal. If you'd like additional information, our Subscription team is here to help – call us on 1-855-666-7440

Do your tutors work on the weekends?

Our tutors are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year.*(subject specific)

How long are the tutoring sessions?

We have 2 types of sessions – scheduled session and instant session.
- Connect Now or Instant sessions upto 120 minutes
- Scheduled or Regular sessions upto 60 min

What happens if I run out of a session time?

If you run out of a session time, immediately click on “Buy more tutoring hours” on your session page or kindly call our Customer Support team.

Will my tutor just give me the answers?

TutorVista’s strives to help students understand and learn the concepts behind what they’re working on, so that students can learn how to solve the problem and reach the answer. Tutors will lead you, work through examples, and help you step-by-step, but they will NEVER just give you the answer.

Can I work with my favourite tutor again?

Yes. You can add tutors to your preferred list to see when they are available to continue another session.

Can I review my previous sessions?

Yes. Just click "More sessions" on your account page to review recordings of your previous sessions and replay them.

How do I schedule a session with a tutor?

Students can sign in to their account page, select the subject and topic and click on “Schedule a Session”. Students can either request for an instant session or schedule a session with any available tutor or a specific tutor of their choice.

What if my tutor is not able to help me?

If you ever have a session you're not completely happy with, or your tutor doesn’t know how to help with your specific question, kindly end the session and contact our customer support.

Need Help? We're available over the phone 1-888-972-9495 – Sunday through Thursday from 3:00 pm to 1:00 am Eastern Standard Time.
- Customer service timings - 3 pm to 1 am EST
- Tutor availability for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English - 2 pm to 2 am EST
- Tutor availability for Statistics - 5 pm to 2am EST
