  • A line segment is defined from math; it is the one of the small cutting piece or part of a long line.

             A polygon is closed figures with all the sides are equal, and all angles are equal.

            Here we will use the line segments which are connecting two vertices of a polygon. So we have to use the polygon figure of triangle.

       Triangle with line segments ABC:

                The given triangle is a closed polygon figure with made up of line segments. Here in this triangle figure has 3 end points A, B and C. All the end points are joining each other.

  • Those 3 points are makes the many line segments like, those line segment names for line segment AB, BC, and CA. Those 3 are original and the reverses of above line segments are BA, CB, and AC.
  • So those 3 line segments are named as bar (AB), bar (BC), bar (CA) and then reverse 3 are named as bar (BA), bar (CB), bar (AC).
  • This is a right angle triangle figure, so two sides are equal. It is having the line segments bar (AB), bar (BC), bar (CA) and etc…
  • This triangle polygon has three vertices, but here we take one end point is starting point means that end point joining or connecting other two end points on there vertices.
  • Example: If C is the starting point means that end point c connecting with end point A and its vertices, same like that end point B and its vertices.

So these line segments connecting the two vertices of the closed polygon (triangle).
